Re: S & H Board of Trustees Meeting
The S & H Board of Trustees met in regular session on Friday, March 15th, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. in S & H’s conference room. In attendance were: Robert Boller, Dawn Eilert, Rick Husa, Josh Koltak, Bob Schwab, and Dave Wolters.
The March meeting was called to order and the March Agenda, February Board Meeting Minutes and February Financials were unanimously approved by the Board.
Rick Husa, Adult Services Director, reported that the shop has been busy with work from our regular customers. Prevailing wage increased 2.5% on 3/1/13 which results in a 2.5% increase for S & H Employees.
As demand increases within Shelby County for Adult Day Services, capacity issues were discussed with the Board of Trustees.
On February 19, Jeanne Stuntz, from Dynamic Pathways, returned to S & H Products and facilitated three focus groups that included management and parental groups. This concluded a two-step process. The data will be sorted and the results will be placed into a template for Strategic Planning.
Jessica Baltes continues strong with Community Based Assessments (CBAs). One individual is participating in a CBA at Fairhaven while three other S & H employees are “trying out” custodial work part-time at Shelby Hills. Another S & H employee has been offered part-time employment after completing her CBA.
Rick Husa expressed S & H’s sadness by the loss of Fred Goode who lost his battle with cancer on March 3rd. Fred was a long-time employee of S & H Products and he will be missed very much.
The Board meeting was adjourned at 8:30 a.m. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2013.
