Re: S & H Board of Trustees Meeting

The S & H Board of Trustees met in regular session on Friday, February 17th, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. in S & H’s conference room. In attendance were: Devon Beer, Rick Brooks, Rick Husa, Josh Koltak, Dan McSweeney, Bob Schwab, and Dave Wolters.

The February meeting was called to order and the February Agenda, January Board Meeting Minutes and Financials were unanimously approved by the Board.

Rick Husa, Adult Services Director, reported that work has slowed a little which is not unusual for this time of year. Historically the volume of work will pick back-up in the spring.

S&H currently is reviewing referrals as the workshop is nearing capacity. Administration will be discussing/brainstorming options and alternatives to address the issue.

Bittersweet, Inc., an organization that has been successfully serving individuals with autism for many years, visited on January 30th to offer suggestions and recommendations for dealing with challenging behaviors of autism. They plan to visit again in the future.

The Board meeting was adjourned at 8:30 a.m. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 16th, 2012.
